Why it fits tonight: The chicken is already cooked, each flatbread can be topped differently, and the oven does the final work while you put the rest of dinner away.

Why It Works Tonight

This is the rotisserie shortcut for nights when quesadillas or pasta feel repetitive. Crisp flatbreads make the same cooked-chicken shortcut feel like pizza night, while individual toppings keep family preferences easy to manage.

15-Minute BBQ Rotisserie Chicken Flatbreads Recipe

Serves: 4  ·  Prep: 5 minutes  ·  Cook: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 naan or small flatbreads
  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken, skin and bones removed
  • 1/2 cup mild barbecue sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 small red onion, very thinly sliced, optional

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven. Heat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place flatbreads on a sheet pan.
  2. Sauce the chicken. Toss shredded rotisserie chicken with about half the barbecue sauce.
  3. Build the flatbreads. Spread the remaining sauce lightly over each flatbread. Top with BBQ chicken, cheese, and red onion only where wanted.
  4. Bake. Bake 7 to 9 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the flatbread edges are crisp. Slice and serve.

Make This Card Fit Your Night

Picky-Eater Move

Make one flatbread with chicken and cheese only, or even cheese only. The individual format keeps negotiations off the whole pan.

Make It Cheaper

Use leftover tortillas as thin flatbread bases if that is what you already have, and use just enough chicken to cover each one.

Use What You Have

Pizza sauce can replace barbecue sauce for a milder pizza-night version. Keep the chicken and cheese the same.

Add Something Green

Serve bagged salad, cucumbers, or raw vegetables on the side rather than complicating the flatbreads.

Leftovers Tomorrow

Refrigerate leftover flatbread slices promptly for up to 3 days. Reheat in a toaster oven, air fryer, or hot oven so the base crisps again.
